GEORGE ROGERS
ASSISTANT YOUTH COACH
George started BJJ in May 2022 and has had quite the transformation. He did his first competition in March 2023 and has competed consistently since then, progressing each time and coming along in confidence.
Most recently, George has won Gold at the Neon Open (October 2025 & May 2025) and Bronze at the Elite World Championships. He has also competed Internationally, taking Bronze at the IBJJF Europeans in Italy (May 2025) and Portugal (October 2024).
After competing regularly and securing wins during Grey/White and Solid Grey belt categories, George was awarded his Grey & Black belt in May 2025.
George has outgrown our kids classes but now comes in four times a week to take them through the warm ups and lend an extra pair of hands to Aaron. He’s a great inspiration to the kids, with many of them wanting to compete after seeing his medals!
