Shar regularly organises seminars, social events and extracurricular activities and can be found at reception 2 nights a week.

JAKE WALTON
MORNING BJJ COACH

Jake has been training with us for about 8 years now and is a Brown Belt in Brazilian JiuJitsu.

Jake competes at least once a year and always does well at competitions, whether that be local or sub only tournaments.

Jake has started offering two morning sessions per week to get some training in before work. He does 1 Nogi and 1 Gi session a week.

GEORGE ROGERS
ASSISTANT YOUTH COACH

George started BJJ in May 2022 and has had quite the transformation. He did his first competition in March 2023 and has competed consistently since then, progressing each time and coming along in confidence.
Most recently, George has won Gold at the IBJJF London Open in October 2024 and has competed Internationally, taking Bronze at the IBJJF Europeans in Portugal – also in October 2024. Both of these were in the Teen 2 Grey Belt category.

After spending 11 months at Grey/White belt and racking up a lot of comp experience and medals, George was awarded his Solid Grey belt in November 2024.

George has outgrown our kids classes but now comes in four times a week to take them through the warm ups and lend an extra pair of hands to Aaron. He’s a great inspiration to the kids, with many of them wanting to compete after seeing his medals!
