In preparation for reopening, hand sanitising stations are being fitted at three points throughout the dojo:
* On the right by the light switches as you enter the dojo.
* On the far wall within the downstairs matted area.
* On the right of the entrance to the upstairs matted area.
Antibacterial hand soap is also placed in both toilets and at the kitchen sink for you to use along with paper towels to dry your hands. Hand wipes are available on the desk and surface disinfectant wipes can be requested for peace of mind before you use equipment also (despite being sprayed down before and after each use).
After using the toilet and obviously washing your hands, we kindly ask you please use the disinfectant spray located above the toilet after use to ensure the environment is as clean as possible.
Whilst we anticipate relaxing of the rules slightly in July, we assume class numbers will be reduced. Our timetable will change in order to allow time for the class to vacate the premises before the next one arrives.
Disinfectant wipes and spray are used on all surfaces between students and the dojo is then sprayed with industrial sanitising equipment at the end of the day.
We are trying to keep the dojo as germ free as possible which is why spectators will not be allowed within the dojo (this will be reviewed periodically in line with guidelines).
Students must bring their own gloves once we reopen (or purchase from us).
Please note whilst we are conducting outdoor sessions, parents are not permitted to stand and watch. Anyone displaying symptoms must remain at home.
We just wanted to give you an update to the steps we have put in place and look forward to seeing you all soon!
