During the closure we took the opportunity to undertake a variety of courses to ensure we are up to date on the coronavirus situation. In addition, we put a number of safety measures in place including hand sanitising stations throughout the dojo, social distancing, deep cleaning and replacing the mats and carpets to ensure we are as germ free as can be!

When we return, classes will be non contact and no gloves will be available to use. You must bring your own drinks, gloves and towels to minimise the spread. Temperature checks will also be in operation. We will also be increasing the time between classes to ensure as few people as possible are in the academy for a smoother changeover and to clean the mats.

You must come to class ready to train. You’ll need to wait outside until Aaron is ready and then 1 by 1 you will enter the dojo, sanitise your hands, put outdoor shoes in 1 of the storage boxes and sign in at the register. Sanitise your hands at the mat entry point and step on to the mats and find your space. At this point, the next person can make their way in. Unfortunately, we cannot allow spectators for the foreseeable. All classes will need to be prebooked as we are running smaller classes.

Only downstairs is in use. Absolutely nobody is to go upstairs, thank you! Wherever possible, please use the toilet before coming. If needed, it is a 1 in 1 out system and we ask you use the disinfectant spray after use.

This is very different to normal, however if it means the leisure and fitness industry can recommence and everybody is safe – that’s the main thing!
